About the Indiana-ACC
The Indiana-ACC Board of
Directors met on March 29, 2003, and developed the following strategies
& initiatives.
The Indiana-ACC is a resource
network committed to improving the cardiovascular health of all Hoosiers
by strengthening the quality of cardiovascular clinical and business
practices.
Strategies:

Quality Works: A focus on the patient
through cardiovascular clinical and business practice improvement

Voice of Cardiology: A focus on
legislative and regulatory activism and advocacy

INACC"T": A focus on engaging
our members to be involved through the offering of value-added
services and networking opportunities.
The Indiana Chapter-ACC was founded in
1995 to address health issues that originate at the state and local
levels. Please support the
Indiana Chapter-ACC by becoming a member when you receive
your National
ACC membership dues invoice. For more information, please contact us at

The Chapter works with the national
ACC staff to help advise local and state government and professional organizations
concerning issues related to cardiovascular disease.
The Chapter also assists in the
continuing education of cardiovascular specialists.
The Chapter provides a forum to
inform the ACC of the opinion of Chapter members in cardiovascular health-related issues.

Representation, State Legislative Information, and Local Medicare Carrier
Information Specific to Cardiology.
